QRtesyTerms of ServiceEffective Date: August 25, 2026QRtesy is a product brand operated by MD Enterprise (“QRtesy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing, activating, scanning, tapping, or using qrtesy.com, a QRtesy placard, QR code, NFC tag, alert, or related service (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.1. Service DescriptionQRtesy helps a person send a private notification to a registered vehicle or item owner. QRtesy does not guarantee that a tag will be visible, readable, active, delivered, answered, or acted upon. QRtesy is not an emergency service, towing service, parking authority, law-enforcement service, or substitute for calling 911 or the appropriate authorities.2. Accounts, Tags, and ActivationYou must provide accurate activation and contact information and keep it current. You are responsible for the placement, condition, and lawful use of your placard or tag. Lost, stolen, transferred, inactive, damaged, or misused tags should be reported to support@qrtesy.com. We may suspend or deactivate a tag to protect users or the Service.3. Acceptable UseYou may not use QRtesy to threaten, harass, stalk, impersonate, defraud, transmit unlawful content, interfere with the Service, or disclose another person’s private information without authority. You are responsible for messages and information you intentionally submit. QRtesy may limit, moderate, block, retain, or report content when reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or enforcement of these Terms.4. Privacy and Personal InformationQRtesy routes communications without displaying an owner’s phone number or email address to the scanner. Personal information intentionally included in a message may be delivered to the other participant. Our collection and use of information is described at https://qrtesy.com/privacy.5. Optional SMS AlertsSMS alerts are optional. You may activate and use QRtesy with email alerts without consenting to SMS. If you voluntarily provide a mobile number and affirmatively select the separate, unchecked SMS consent option, you agree to receive transactional QRtesy alerts when your registered tag is scanned, plus essential account and service messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase or use of the Service. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. You may also contact support@qrtesy.com. We do not send marketing SMS under this consent.6. Email Alerts and DeliveryYou authorize QRtesy to send transactional email related to purchases, activation, tag scans, private replies, security, support, and service changes. Email and SMS delivery may be delayed or fail because of carriers, providers, filtering, internet availability, inaccurate contact information, or circumstances outside our control.7. Purchases, Pricing, and RenewalsPrices, included items, shipping, taxes, discounts, replacement products, and any optional recurring service will be disclosed before purchase. A subscription will not begin unless it is clearly presented and you affirmatively agree to it. Payment processing may be provided by Stripe or another payment processor subject to its terms. Except where required by law or stated at checkout, personalized or activated products may not be returnable.8. Safety and EmergenciesDo not rely on QRtesy where immediate action is required. For emergencies, suspected crimes, dangerous roadway conditions, medical concerns, or threats to safety, contact 911, emergency services, property management, law enforcement, or another appropriate authority.9. Intellectual PropertyQRtesy’s name, branding, designs, software, workflows, text, and other Service materials are owned by or licensed to MD Enterprise. You retain ownership of content you submit but permit QRtesy to process and transmit it as needed to provide and protect the Service.10. Disclaimers and Limitation of LiabilityThe Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, QRtesy disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; missed or delayed messages; actions or inaction by drivers, owners, scanners, carriers, or third parties; loss of property; vehicle damage; towing; tickets; injury; or unlawful use. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.11. Changes and TerminationWe may update the Service or these Terms. Material changes will be posted with a revised effective date. We may suspend access or tags for misuse, security concerns, nonpayment, legal requirements, or material violations.12. Governing LawThese Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in a court with appropriate jurisdiction in New York, unless applicable law requires otherwise.13.
